Today Merovex Press becomes a company — and it’s worth saying plainly what we’re here to do.
Our goal is to write software for authors while being published authors ourselves. Those two halves depend on each other. We don’t believe you can build the right tools for novelists from the outside, looking in. So we’re building them from the inside: using them to write real books, feeling every rough edge in the middle of a working day, and fixing whatever gets between an author and the page.
That’s why Merovex Press wears two hats, and neither is a side project. We are a software company and a fiction publisher at the same time. The books keep us honest about the software, and the software is shaped by the daily reality of actually finishing a novel. Practicing both is the whole point.
This is the mission we’re incorporating around. More on what we’re making will follow as it’s ready — but the direction won’t change: tools for authors, made by an author, proven on real books.
